Accommodations

Ash Grove is located minutes from the bustling cities of West Lafayette and Lafayette; plenty of rooms, food, and culture are available for the weekend. We don’t plan an official hotel, but there are a plethora of options available near the launch site.

Many flyers like to coordinate activities in the twin cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette after the launch shuts down. Especially popular for food and nightlife are the levee district of West Lafayette (near the intersection of SR 26 and South River Rd), downtown Lafayette (from 2nd to 6th street, between South St and Ferry St), and, for the younger crowd, Chauncey Hill and its environs (where State Street crosses Northwestern Ave).

For general supplies, West Lafayette and Lafayette are home to three WalMarts (at the intersection of Northwestern Ave/Cumberland Ave in West Lafayette, and both SR 26/I-65 and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway/Concord Rd in Lafayette), a Target (3630 SR 26 East), and several grocery stores. If you’re in need of general building supplies, West Lafayette has an Ace Hardware store at the intersection of Sagamore Pkwy and Yeager Rd, approximately 25 minutes from the field, and Lafayette has a Home Depot (SR 26 East/Sagamore Pkwy) and a Lowe’s (SR 26 East/Creasy Ln).
