Summer Launch Dates

The amazing disappearing sod at Purdy’s farm has finally won the battle, and we’re left with not much space to fly on. As such, we’ve changed this month’s meeting+launch combination to a meeting-only affair. We’ll be getting together at the Extension Office on Sunday the 20th, at our old usual time (7 PM) to catch up after Thunderstruck and get things sorted for the upcoming season. As always, there will be plenty of rocket talk too, so we’ll look forward to seeing you there!

Our February launch was a great success. Indiana Rocketry flyers brought out tons of hard-hitting motors to power their rockets through the breeze, launching everything from A8s to a fantastic M2650 flight by Dennis Watkins. Click through for photos!

Launch This Weekend!

The February launch is on for this weekend — research Saturday, and commercial Sunday. Come on out to Ash Grove one last time before the big show next month and enjoy a relaxed weekend of flying. We’ll have the 16,000′ standing waiver in place each morning, with our usual on-demand windows to 22,000′.

February Meeting Time Change
